Americos Catasoft EXL
Introduction :
Americos Catasoft EXL is an excellent cationic softener, which is readily soluble in cold water. It can be use for cotton, polyester / cotton and polyester/viscose and polyester fabrics/garments. It provides limpness and shine to fabric. It does not yellow when treated fibers are heated and affect dye fastness.
The advantages of Americos Catasoft EXL are:
- It is pumpable, pourable, low viscosity softener in emulsion form
- Can be applied in both exhaust and padding processes
- It is compatible with silicone and non-ionic products used in finishing formulation
- It provides limpness and shine to fabric.
- Imparts a very soft, smooth handle to the goods
- It has no influence on dyeing fastness.
- It poses no yellowing problem to white goods

Application Methods
Americos Catasoft EXL can be applied by exhaust as well as padding method:
(1) Exhaust application (Package m/c, Soft-flow m/c, Winch)
(A) Post conditioning of acrylic yarn especially in the final rinse of yarn dyeing m/c

Impregnate fabric at 70-80% pick -up, dry at 120-140°C for 2-3 min.
Storage & handling precautions :
- Store in cool place.
- Avoid storing in direct sunlight.
- Americos Catasoft EXL should be stored at ambient temperatures.
- The shelf life of Americos Catasoft EXL is one year.
- The usual precaution in keeping chemicals away from eyes and skin should be observed.
CATIONIC SOFTENER FOR POLYESTER
Americos Soft 1000 AC Conc.
Introduction
Americos Soft 1000 AC conc. is a weakly cationic softening agent with anti-static effect. It is recommended for synthetic like Polyester, Acrylic, Acetate, Nylon and its blends. It is excellent for laundry washing fastness.
The advantages of Americos Soft 1000 AC conc. are:
- It is pumpable, pourable, low viscosity softener in emulsion form
- Can be applied in both exhaust and padding processes
- It is compatible with silicone and non-ionic products used in finishing formulation
- Improves the lubricancy of the fibers and facilitates further processing of the goods
- Imparts a very soft, smooth handle to the goods
- It imparts good touch and elasticity like wool for acrylic and its blend
- It has no influence on dyeing fastness.
- It poses no yellowing problem to white goods
