Preparation

All products should be diluted first before mixing. Never add capsules in concentrated form into the bath

Pad Through Following Trough Mixture:

• Americos Wettex 800 Nonionic penetrating/ : 0.1 g/l Wetting agent
• Biocap Aloe Vera/ : 30 g/l AmeriCap/AmeriosCap
• Americos Resin Binder : 50 - 80 g/l (Nonionic Acrylic Binder)
• Americos Nanosoft 1140 : 20 g/l

Properties
Finally make up the bath to 1000 parts with water

Pad the fabric with the above recipe for 90% pick-up and then dry/cure at 155°C for 30 seconds.

This method is recommended for garment processing and should not be applied in the jet.

Steps involved in the exhaust method :

• Add the garments to the machine § Fill the water to a liquor ratio of 1: 10
• Dilute the microcapsules and gently stir to make good dispersion of capsules
• Add diluted capsules to the bath (an anionic dispersing agent can be added to ensure good dispersion)
• Run the machine for 10 min
• Raise the temperature to 50 - 60°C depending on binder's characteristics
• Run the machine for further 15 min
• Add Americos Resin Binder (nonionic acrylic binder)
• Run the machine for further 15 min
• Add Americos Nanosoft 1140 softener and run the machine for 15 min (if required )
• Drain § Hydro extract
• Dry (do not exceed 155°C)

Storage & Handling Precautions :

• Store in cool place
• Avoid storing in direct sunlight
• The usual precautions in keeping chemicals away from eyes and skin should be observed

Introduction :
Americos wrinkle A-75 is a self-catalyzed and low formaldehyde resin. It increases value addition of garment by creating smooth and permanent wrinkle on garment. Such wrinkles are stable to multiple home launderings.

This concept is well exploited for a value added finishing of denim garments by creating localized wrinkles. In contrast to wrinkle free concept, in this case, wrinkle is formed with help of traditional cross-linking agent like DMDHEU and other resin.

Physical Property :

Application Methods :

First the self-catalyzed Americos Wrinkle A-75 is applied on garment where wrinkles are required. Secondly, creases or folds are created manually on those portions, treated with Americos Wrinkle A-75. Then fabric is dried and cured at 150°C. The wrinkles thus formed on garment are permanent in nature and stable to multiple home launderings.

Storage & Handling Precautions :

• Americos Wrinkle A-75 should be stored at or below ambient temperature. Avoid storing in direct sunlight.
• Do not allow freezing. If this product is stored for longer period, it is advisable to mix it well, before use.
  The shelf-life of Americos Wrinkle A-75 is one year if stored below 40°C.
• Usual precautions in keeping chemicals away from eyes and skin should be observed.
• Do not store in mild steel, copper or aluminum containers.
