Introduction :

Americos KS-3983 is a polyvinyl alcohol dispersion used for imparting durable finishes with a firm handle on textile fabrics of all kinds.

Americos KS-3983 can also be used in various other types of fabrics and finishes along with softeners and anti-creasing agents.

Americos KS-3983 is available in two different concentrates, 7% dispersion and 15% dispersion. Americos KS-3983 7% dispersion is a ready to use formulation where as Americos KS-3983 15% has to be diluted as per the required finish.

Packing: 50 kg, 125 kg and 200 kg HDPE drums and carboys

Impregnate the fabric for 70 - 80% pick-up and dry it at 120 - 140°C for 2-3 min.

Storage & Handling Precautions :

• Avoid storing in direct sunlight
• Shelf life of Americos KS-3983 is 2 - 3 months under recommended storage conditions
• The usual precautions in keeping chemicals away from eyes and skin should be observed

Introduction

Americos Opti-Bright XBL is highly concentrated optical brightener for cellulosic fabrics. The brightness obtained by Americos Opti-Bright XBL has a bluish tone to make a white fabric whiter. It is used at low dosages and is cost effective.

• It does not cause yellowing
• It does not form micro lumps on the fabric and hence it avoids patch formation which is a general problem caused due to the un-dissolved particles of conventional brightening agents
• It is effective even at lower concentrations

Application :
Americos Opti-Bright XBL can be applied on the fabric at the final stage of processing or a stage earlier. It can be used in hydrogen peroxide/chlorine bleaching bath at elevated temperature of up to 150°C. The dosage may vary from 0.1% to 0.5% based on weight of material. The processing time can be adjusted between 10 to 30 minutes.

Storage & handling precautions :

• Avoid storing in direct sunlight, Americos Opti-Bright XBL should be stored at ambient temperature
• Do not allow freezing
• If Americos Opti-Bright XBL is stored for long time, it is advisable to mix it well, before use
• The shelf-life of Americos Opti-Bright XBL is one year if stored below 40°C
• The usual precautions in keeping chemicals away from eyes and skin should be observed
